The Sussex County YMCA will host the
first annual "Just Do It" meet mini swim meet (SCY) on Saturday, May 3
at 4:30pm. No deck entries.
The meet is open to any adult (18+) swimmers, whether USMS registered
or not. (it is a USMS recognized event).

USMS has developed a new (smaller, but
very attractive and easy to assemble) display to be used to generate
interest in United States Masters Swimming at your facility.
Click on the picture below to see the display currently in use at the
Sussex County YMCA in conjunction with their May 3rd mini meet. This
display helped the Y generate interest and their meet entries have far
exceeded their expectations.

United States Masters Swimming
Mission Statement
To promote fitness and health in adults by
offering and supporting Masters swimming programs.
Goals and Objectives

To encourage and promote improved physical
fitness and health in adults.

To offer adults the opportunity to
participate in a lifelong fitness and/or competitive swimming program.

To encourage organizations and communities to
establish and sponsor Masters swimming programs.

To enhance fellowship and camaraderie among
Masters swimmers.

psychology, and physiology of Masters swimming.
