Due to the COVID-19 crisis in our country, the 2020 NJ Masters Swimming Banquet has been postponed with a TBD date. Stay tuned for updates as the situation allows us to consider a reschedule date.

Congratulations to Laurie Ditommaso (56) for setting a new NJ LMSC SCY record in the 55-59 age group at the YMCA Masters National Championships at the YMCA of Central Florida Aquatic Center on April 14, 2019. Laurie posted a 28.54 in the 50 freestyle.

April 18th, 2019 - Congratulations to Frank McElroy, 71, for setting a new NJ LMSC SCY record in the men's 70-74 age group with a 21:18.19 in the 1650 yard freestyle at the New England SCY Championships at Harvard University on March 16, 2019
April 8th, 2019 - Congratulations to Alyssa Colasurdo (24) and Nancy Steadman-Martin (64) for setting new NJ LMSC SCY records at the Hawks Masters Spring Splash meet at Monmouth University on March 31, 2019. Alyssa swam a 2:38.77 in the 200 breast and Nancy swam a 1:17.97 in the 100 fly and a 1:18.90 in the 100 IM.
April 8th, 2019 - Congratulations to the following NJ LMSC swimmers who set new NJ LMSC SCY records at the Ocean County YMCA Unofficial Team Championships meet at the Toms River YMCA on February 10, 2019. Women 18-24: Alyssa Colasurdo (24) 50 breast 32.29, 100 breast 1:09.14; Women 45-49: Alison Hayden (47) 200 breast 2:50.48; Women 60-64: Nancy Steadman-Martin (64) 200 IM 2:47.09
March 30th, 2019 - Congratulations to Nancy Steadman-Martin for setting new NJLMSC short course yards records at the Garsoe Schermerhorn Masters Pentathlon Meet at Pennsbury High School on March 6, 2016 and March 3, 2019. At the 2016 meet, when Nancy was 61, she swam the 200 fly in 2:43.56 and the 400 IM in 5:41.31 (these times had not been recorded in the NJ LMSC record books!). In the 2019 meet, at age 64, Nancy broke the 200 breast record with a 3:11.90.

Alison set new records in the women's 45-49 age group in the 400 free (4:59.01), 200 breast (3:06.73), 200 IM (2:45.93) and the 400 IM (5:44.43).
